Now What?

Hello!

Okay you've got your site up, now what? Well ,get out there and share it. The little envelope icon at the top of the menu bar is the best way to tell your family and friends that you are now published on the web.

Just click on the icon and either enter a friend's email address, use the button link to send to out to your Hotmail, gmail, outlook, or aol contacts, or click the link at the very bottom of the box to bring up your own email program and use your own contacts.

Spreading the word is fun and easy!

And if you haven't added to your page in awhile, give it a try - we've doubled the number of users in the past month, so there are more people to share with.

And, just so you know we work to get you noticed - several of our authors are now ranked number 1 on google using their description as a search entry!

Lauren here,

Thank you for using PNN, we're getting bigger and better every day, and it's all thanks to you.

What's New - video recording, badges, speed, Blip.tv, feeds, fixes..

In the next day or so we will add the ability to record audio and video right from your web browser, how cool is that? If you've got a web cam, or lucky enough to have a recent mac book, you're ready to go. You will find the new tool under the renamed 'multimedia' icon - so go record something...

You probably noticed the Getting Started box on your page if you are a new subscriber - well if you complete it, it will be replaced by a colorful success award. Soon, we'll have all kinds of awards and they will show up on your profiles page automatically, so keep posting.

Also new is a bunch of clever programmer type things that are speeding up the interface, so you should notice a marked improvement.

And last and most certainly not least is that we're getting into the video world! If you go to blip.tv you'll see several videos with our name on them, we're working with the show's producers, so check out one of them from NYC called - Hotroast

next up.... awards, groups, and whatever you suggest!

PNN News Jan 3/2007

Hello!

Thank all of you for using PNN. We're getting closer to the official launch, but we have a few bugs to fix and a few features to add!

We're in the middle of adding an interactive calendar, easier graphic uploads, a new text editor, and in the process of a bigger endeavor - video recording and uploading. We're going to make it as easy as the rest of PNN so it's going to take some work, but it will be fun. If you have any suggestions please use the 'Feedback' button and let us know.

Times just about up for our iPod drawing. Remember you get a chance to win every time you sign in, every update you make, and once for every other broadcast you read. We'll post the winner on the front page, with a link to their broadcast.

So, for those of you who have signed up but haven't had a chance to edit your pages yet, get out there!

Hello,

This week we've been putting a good amount of graphic bugs to rest and adding new features..... endless task!

We are also adding users as we can - we are trying to add folks only as fast as we can keep up with bugs.

PNN Drawing for an iPod

Yup, we're giving away an ipod every month - rules are simple just join and use the site. We've got a very complicated formula that uses lots of ones and zeros to come up with a fair way to make the award - basically your name goes in multiple times - once for each time you sign in, once for every update you make, and once for every other broadcast you read - we then throw in a bit of chance and pick a winner!

On the work front, our major task we have is to get the community going - if you are one of the first to come to PNN you've noticed that there aren't that many people here yet. Well I say, take advantage of it. You have a real chance to affect what we'll become - we are listening to everyone, and we're doing our best to change. If you have an existing community already let us know and we'll see about working our an easy way to get them over to PNN.

So, click on 'feedback' at the top of the page and let us know what you think, and come back to the site often!

This is the home of PNN's weekly (or so) news digest. I'll try to keep everyone up to date on new features, how to use PNN, and just fun things in general.

We subscribed you to this broadcast when you signed up, and I hope you find it helpful - if at anytime you want to unsubscribe just go to your 'My Broadcast' tab and hit the 'subscriptions' tab.
